Out of hours Access / Arrangements :
The Library is open 24 hours a day. Access out of office hours is via a digital lock code available on registration.

Photocopying & printing, plus scanning & laminating (Charges may apply). The provisions of the NHS Wales Copyright license are displayed so you can make sure you stay within the law.
Joining the Library:

To join the Library please complete a membership form and call into the Library during staffed hours. Alternatively complete the online membership form

Borrowing Books:

You may borrow a maximum of 10 books

Loans are for 4 weeks. You can renew on request, providing the item is not requested by another reader

You will receive regular email reminders about your loans

Books not available on site can usually be requested in from another library for you

We have a small leisure library which you are welcome to browse & to borrow!
Literature Searches:

We conduct Literature Searches for research, clinical audit, service improvement, patient information and education. To request a Literature Search, please contact the Librarian or complete the online literature search request form
Current Awareness:

KnowledgeShare provides targeted evidence updates, sent straight to your inbox and facilitates matching colleagues with shared interests

Please ask Library staff if you are interested in receiving evidence updates in your area(s) of interest

Access to majority of databases e.g. Medline, British Nursing Database, Embase, MIDIRS, etc.
Evidence Summaries:

BMJ Best Practice is supplied through the NHS Wales e-Library for Health
Article & e-Journal Access:

The majority of journals are now available to NHS Wales staff online via the NHS Wales e-Library for Health
